Skinny for macOS · developer support
Skinny is a one-time-purchase Mac app that compresses images for the web. You drop them on it; they stay on your Mac. This is the support page for that app. A person reads what you send. You do not need an account, a receipt in hand, or a login to ask for help.
Support page updated November 7, 2026.

Common fixes
If none of this matches what you are seeing, the form is the right next step. Tell us what you expected and what the Mac did instead.
Use the form on this page or email support@skinnyimages.com. Both reach the same inbox. There is no in-app account, so there is no password to reset and no profile to sign in to before you can ask for help.
Quit Skinny and open it again. Drop one image, not a whole disk, and confirm you can read and write the folder you chose. Compression always trades a little size for a little fidelity — already-small files may barely change. If it still fails, send the macOS version from About This Mac and what you dropped in. You do not need to attach the photo.
No. Skinny compresses files locally on your Mac. We cannot see, recover, or delete pictures you have not sent us yourself. Please do not email images you only wanted compressed — the app is the drop zone, not this inbox. The full privacy policy is at Privacy Policy.
If you bought Skinny on the Mac App Store, Apple processes the payment. We never see your card. Skinny is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there is no plan to cancel in the app. For a refund or a charge you do not recognize, use reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple ID purchase history. We can still help with how the app behaves — mention that the purchase was through Apple so we do not send you in a circle.
Skinny has no user account and no server profile. Uninstalling the app removes it from your Mac; files you already saved stay where you put them. If you want an email you sent from this page deleted, say so in a new note to support@skinnyimages.com and include the address you used. We will delete that correspondence.
Contact
This form emails the Skinny developer. Include a reply address you actually check. A macOS version and a short description are enough — screenshots of the app window help, photos you meant to compress do not.
On its way
Thanks. Support has this, and we’ll reply to . Give the inbox a little time, including spam. If it never shows, write straight to support@skinnyimages.com and mention you already sent the form.
